| 10TH Annual Harvest Dinner |
| We had another great Harvest Dinner this year. This was our 10 year. For a bit of history about the dinner: We use this as an opportunity for our young people to serve the elderly people. The guests are all seated and the young people serve the entire meal. We also have this night as a special time for our "senior" church family to invite their friends to this special dinner. Over the years, we have been able to make many new friends. Each year the young people present a program of music and the pastor gives a short devotional. This year our theme was "Which Road are You Traveling?". The pastor introduced the music as though we were listening to the radio in our car, only getting Christian stations, of course! The gospel plan of salvation was presented along with this theme. The church ladies did a great job of preparing a delicious turkey dinner with all the "fixin's". |
